We provide drawing tips and reviews on medium and materials, including digital drawing software, tablets and equipment.
More than 25 years ago, I published a comic book with my brothers. I have been an artist, in a family of artists, ever since I can remember. My daughter is an accomplished artist, as well. Though my career path didn't take me the way of a comic book artist, I still love to draw. This site is dedicated to our fellow comic book artists as we provide tips and talk about the hobby we love.
Comic artists are paid by the page and they have a lot of pride in their work. Digital drawing tools have changed the world of comic drawing in the best ways possible. Artists can now pump out more pages efficiently and retain the quality of work when leveraging digital tools like tablets, software and apps. In this post we look at a lot of the tools available to the digital comic artist and we talk about our experiences using them.

I'm an amateur artist with an interest in comic book art and drawing. I published a comic book with my brothers in the 1990's and it was promoted by the second largest comic distributor in the US, at the time.
I mostly draw digitally these days. I have been through a lot of software, tablets, apps and accessories to support my hobby. I like to relax when drawing, so the tools and their capabilities are important to me. I have spent thousands of dollars looking for the right tools for me and I am sharing my favorites here with you.
I have also had a lot of experience using traditional drawing tools for my comic art. I drew our entire comic book in 1991 using pencils, india ink, bristol board and other supporting accessories. I've put a list together of my favorites for you to consider.
